  • Relevant qualifications or certifications such as CA, CFP, CFA, NISM V-A, NISM XXI-A, Investment Adviser or Research Analyst certification, depending on the post.

Experience

Zonal Head—RetailAt least 15 years in sales management in Wealth Management, Retail Banking or AMCs, including five years leading a large team of Relationship Managers and Team Leads
Regional HeadAt least 12 years in relationship management, preferably Wealth Management, including five years leading a large relationship-management team or serving as Team Lead
Relationship Manager—Team LeadAt least eight years in relationship management, preferably in Wealth Management; Team Lead experience is preferred
Investment SpecialistAt least six years after qualification as an investment adviser, counsellor, officer or product-team member in Wealth Management firms or AMCs
Investment OfficerAt least four years after qualification as an investment adviser, counsellor, officer or product-team member in Wealth Management firms or AMCs
VP WealthAt least six years in sales and marketing with banks, Wealth Management firms or AMCs; Relationship Manager experience is preferred

The fee and intimation charge are non-refundable. Applicable online transaction charges must be borne by the candidate.

Selection Process

  1. Online application and payment of the applicable fee
  2. Preliminary scrutiny of eligibility, qualifications and experience
  3. Shortlisting according to parameters decided by SBI’s Shortlisting Committee
  4. One or more personal, telephone or video interview rounds
  5. Interview assessment carrying 100 marks
  6. CTC negotiation at or after the interview
  7. Original-document and eligibility verification
  8. Background, character and antecedent verification
  9. Preparation of the merit list using interview marks
  10. Contractual engagement subject to medical and other applicable requirements

Merely meeting the minimum conditions does not guarantee an interview. When candidates obtain the same cut-off score, the older candidate will rank higher.

Exam Pattern

SBI has not prescribed a written examination for this recruitment. The interview carries 100 marks, and SBI will determine the qualifying score.

How will the final merit list be prepared?

The merit list will be prepared in descending order using interview marks. Age in descending order will resolve a tie at the cut-off.
