Qualification
- Candidates must have passed the written and practical parts of the final MBBS examination.
- Final MBBS candidates were permitted to take the examination provisionally.
- Such candidates must now upload accepted proof such as the degree certificate, final mark sheet or provisional degree certificate within the mandatory result-stage window.
- Candidates who have not completed the compulsory rotating internship may be academically eligible but cannot be appointed until completing it.
- Candidates must satisfy the prescribed physical and medical standards for the allocated post.
Experience
Previous employment experience is not prescribed as an essential requirement. Completion of the compulsory rotating internship is required before appointment.

- Open the official roll-number or name-wise result PDF.
- Confirm that the document is for Combined Medical Services Examination 2026 and is dated 1 September 2026.
- Search using the candidate’s roll number or name.
- If shortlisted, open the UPSC online portal during the 15-day result-stage window.
- Log in with the candidate’s registered credentials.
- Verify the personal, educational, category and contact details.
- Update the final MBBS qualification status and upload accepted proof of passing.
- Update address, higher qualification, employment, service experience and other permitted information where required.
- Upload the relevant category, disability or supporting certificates.
- Review every entry and finally submit the form even when no changes were needed.
