National Testing Agency has displayed the AIAPGET 2026 provisional answer keys, question papers and candidates’ recorded responses for online challenges.

Answer-key challenge open: Candidates may view their AIAPGET 2026 question paper and recorded responses and challenge the provisional key from 3 September to 5 September 2026, up to 11:59 PM.
Each challenged question requires a non-refundable processing fee of ₹200. The challenge and successful fee payment must both be completed before the deadline.

NTA conducted the main examination on 22 August 2026 at approximately 205 centres in 104 cities for about 51,482 candidates. A re-examination was conducted on 1 September 2026 for 49 affected candidates in Jaipur.

Seat availability, reservation, institutional eligibility and allotment will be governed by the competent counselling authorities rather than NTA.

Salary

Salary is not applicable because AIAPGET 2026 is an entrance examination for postgraduate AYUSH admission and not a recruitment examination.

Qualification

  • Candidates must possess a recognised BAMS, BUMS, BSMS, BHMS or Graded BHMS degree or provisional pass certificate.
  • The qualification must be recognised under the applicable NCISM or NCH legislation and regulations.
  • Candidates must possess permanent or provisional registration issued by the erstwhile CCIM/CCH, NCISM, NCH or the appropriate State/UT board.
  • The compulsory one-year rotating internship must be completed by the revised cut-off date of 31 October 2026.
  • Institutional admission remains subject to counselling rules, document verification, recognition requirements and other conditions imposed by the competent authority.

Experience

No previous employment experience is required. Completion of the prescribed compulsory rotating internship by 31 October 2026 is an eligibility requirement.

A challenge is saved finally only after successful payment. NTA will not consider unpaid challenges or submissions made through email, post or any mode other than the online portal.

Selection Process

  1. Computer-based AIAPGET 2026 examination
  2. Display of question papers and candidates’ recorded responses
  3. Publication of the provisional answer key
  4. Online submission of supported challenges and processing fee
  5. Examination of valid challenges by subject experts
  6. Revision of the key where a challenge is found correct
  7. Preparation of the final answer key
  8. Declaration of scores and merit list using the final key
  9. All India or State/UT counselling, as applicable
  10. Eligibility and original-document verification
  11. Seat allotment according to merit, choices, eligibility and the applicable seat matrix

NTA will not individually inform candidates whether their challenge was accepted. The answer key finalised after expert review will be binding, and no answer-key grievance will be entertained after the final result.

If a question is dropped because of a technical error, full marks will be awarded to all candidates. Where translation or question construction is ambiguous, the English version will be treated as final.

How to Challenge the Answer Key

  1. Open the official AIAPGET 2026 answer-key challenge page.
  2. Select the link labelled “Challenge(s) regarding Answer Key.”
  3. Log in using the application number and password.
  4. Enter the displayed CAPTCHA and submit the login form.
  5. Select “View Question Paper” to check the recorded responses.
  6. Choose “Click to View/Challenge Answer Key.”
  7. Match the Question IDs in the question paper with those displayed in the key.
  8. Select one or more alternative Option IDs for every question being challenged.
  9. Upload supporting documents, combined into a single PDF file.
  10. Select “Submit and Review Claims.”
  11. Review every challenged Question ID and use “Modify Your Claims” if a correction is needed.
  12. Select “Final Submit” only after checking all claims.
  13. Click “Pay Now” and pay ₹200 for each challenged question.
  14. Confirm that the payment and claims were successfully saved.
  15. Download or capture the final confirmation for future reference.
  16. Complete the process by 5 September 2026 at 11:59 PM.

What is the revised internship deadline?

The compulsory rotating internship must be completed by 31 October 2026 for the applicable Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani or Homoeopathy course.

Who conducts counselling after the result?

AACCC conducts counselling for the applicable All India Quota and participating institutions. State and UT authorities conduct their respective quota counselling.
