CBSE Class 12 Supplementary Exam 2026 Private Candidate Form Notice
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the official notice for
online submission of forms by Private Candidates of Class XII Supplementary Examination 2026
for Compartment 3rd chance. Eligible private candidates can submit the form through the
official CBSE portal within the scheduled dates.
Latest Update: CBSE Class 12 Supplementary Exam 2026 Private Candidate form notice was released
on 30 June 2026. The Class XII Supplementary Examination 2026 will be conducted on
28 July 2026.

Important Dates
Who Can Apply?
The CBSE private candidate supplementary form is applicable only for eligible candidates as per the official
CBSE eligibility rules. Candidates should read the official notice carefully before applying.
- Private candidates of Class XII whose result was declared as Compartment.
- Private candidates who appeared with 5 subjects and were placed in compartment in one subject.
- Private candidates who appeared with 6 subjects and were placed in compartment in two subjects can apply in any one subject.
- Private candidates who passed with 6 subjects but could not clear one subject can apply under Improvement of Performance category where applicable.
- Regular students of 2025 placed in Compartment category for 3rd chance can apply only as private category.

How to Apply for CBSE Class 12 Supplementary Exam 2026 Private Candidate Form?

- The official CBSE private candidate supplementary form portal will open.
- Enter your roll number, school number and centre number as per the last CBSE admit card.
- Select the eligible subject carefully.
- Enter your address, state, city and examination city.
- Submit the application and note down the Application ID.
- Upload recent colour photograph and signature as per CBSE instructions.
- Pay the examination fee through the official online payment mode.
- Download / print the final confirmation page for future use.
