National Testing Agency has invited applications for one senior-level General Manager post on contract. Eligible candidates must email their application on or before 18 August 2026.
NTA Recruitment 2026 Overview
Qualification and Experience
Master’s degree or PG Diploma in Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, Public Policy, Marketing, MBA or an allied discipline. A bachelor’s degree from a recognized university is essential.
Post-qualification experience in customer experience, public communication, public relations, customer operations, corporate communications or allied functions.
Senior leadership experience in a large consumer-facing or public-service organization.
Age will be considered on the last date. Relaxation may be considered for exceptional candidates as per NTA norms.
Working knowledge of one or more additional Indian languages will be an advantage.
Desirable Experience
- Experience in a regulator, autonomous body, public-sector undertaking or major financial institution.
- Omni-channel customer communication through portals, mobile, email, SMS, IVR, chatbots, WhatsApp and social media.
- Management of a large multilingual helpdesk or contact centre.
- Crisis communication, reputation management and national-level media relations.
- Experience in education, examinations or other candidate-facing services.
Salary and Key Responsibilities
- Lead NTA’s candidate-experience and public-communication strategy.
- Improve communication across portal, mobile, email, SMS, IVR, WhatsApp and social media.
- Operate multilingual helpdesk and grievance-redressal systems.
- Manage Information Bulletins, FAQs, Public Notices and transparency disclosures.
- Lead media relations, crisis communication and reputation management.
- Coordinate communication with candidates, parents, Government departments and examination partners.
Selection Process
- Shortlisting based on qualifications, experience and suitability.
- Personal interview before the Selection Committee.
- A presentation on candidate-experience and communication strategy may be required.
- The Selection Committee’s decision will be final and binding.
