Selected candidates undergo four years of training at the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala.

Only up to 25% of each Agniveer batch may be considered for enrolment in the regular cadre based on performance, organisational requirements and prescribed selection policies. Regular enrolment is not guaranteed.
