Who Can Make Corrections?

The facility is available to candidates who successfully submitted an application during either the original application period or the subsequently reopened application window.

  • Applicants who submitted their forms from 11 May to 10 June 2026.
  • Applicants who submitted their forms during the additional opportunity from 25 August to 1 September 2026.

Permitted Corrections

Subject to the options enabled in the candidate login, the CTET information bulletin permits one-time correction in particulars such as:

  • Candidate’s name.
  • Father’s name and mother’s name.
  • Date of birth.
  • Category and differently-abled category.
  • Paper selected: Paper I, Paper II or both, as applicable.
  • Subject selected for Paper II.
  • Language I and Language II choices.
  • Correspondence address.
  • Name of the institution, college or university from which the relevant teacher-education qualification was obtained.

The information bulletin states that the examination city cannot be changed through the correction facility. Candidates should rely on the fields actually enabled in their official login.

Application Fee

Not applicable as a fresh application fee. The correction notice does not prescribe a separate correction charge. Any amount displayed because of an allowed change must be verified directly in the official portal before submission.
