Unravelling How Intrinsically Disordered Regions Drive Dynamic
Allostery Using Integrative Modelling and Machine Learning
The project involves computational biology, molecular modelling,
simulations, data analysis and machine-learning-based research.
Educational Qualification
Applicants must possess a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks in any one of the following subjects:
Biotechnology
Master’s degree in Biotechnology with a minimum of 55% marks.
Computational Biology
Master’s degree in Computational Biology with a minimum of
55% marks.
Data Science
Master’s degree in Data Science with a minimum of 55% marks.
Biology or Life Sciences
Master’s degree in Biology or Life Sciences with at least
55% marks.
Biochemistry
Master’s degree in Biochemistry with a minimum of 55% marks.
Equivalent Discipline
An equivalent relevant Master’s degree with at least 55%
marks is also acceptable.
A provisional degree certificate may be accepted at the time of
joining.
National-Level Test Requirement
In addition to the required Master’s degree, applicants must have qualified in one of the following examinations:
- CSIR-UGC NET.
- UGC-JRF or CSIR-JRF.
- Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering – GATE.
- Another recognised national-level examination conducted by a Central Government department or its agency.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Experience in computational biology techniques.
- Experience in molecular dynamics simulations.
- Knowledge or experience in molecular docking.
- Working knowledge of Python programming.
- Working knowledge of R programming.
- Experience or knowledge of machine learning.
