Qualification
Army Wing of NDA
Class 12 pass under the 10+2 pattern or an equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or university.
Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA
Class 12 pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics under the 10+2 pattern or an equivalent examination.
Indian Naval Academy 10+2 Cadet Entry
Class 12 pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics under the 10+2 pattern or an equivalent examination.
Experience
No previous employment experience is required. Candidates must satisfy the academic, age, marital-status, nationality, physical and medical requirements.

- Original photo identity card whose number appears on the admit card

- Black ballpoint pen for the OMR answer sheet and attendance list
- Matriculation or equivalent certificate for proof of date of birth
- Class 12 certificate and mark sheet when required during later verification

UPSC uploaded the e-admit card and press note on 3 September 2026.
When will the examination be held?
The examination will be conducted on 13 September 2026 in two sessions.
How many vacancies are available?
The examination covers 394 tentative vacancies: 370 for male candidates and 24 for female candidates.
Will UPSC send a paper admit card?
No. Candidates must download and print the e-admit card from the official portal.
What must candidates carry?
Candidates must carry the printed e-admit card and original photo ID whose number appears on it. Additional photographs are required when the admit-card photograph is unclear.
When does entry close?
