Upper-Age Relaxation
Disabled Defence Services personnel may receive relaxation up to 45 years, or 50 years for SC/ST candidates. Regular Delhi High Court employees have no upper-age limit, subject to possessing the required qualification.
Educational and Skill Qualification
The required qualification and declared result must be available by 5 October 2026.
Experience
Not applicable. The vacancy notice does not prescribe previous work experience as an essential requirement.
Application Fee
The examination fee is non-refundable. An application is considered successfully submitted only after the candidate generates the confirmation page.
Selection Process
- Stage I – English computer-typing test of qualifying nature.
- Stage II – English shorthand tests.
- Stage III – Main descriptive English examination.
- Stage IV – Interview.
- Document verification and appointment formalities.
Final merit will be prepared using the marks secured in the shorthand tests, descriptive examination and interview. The typing test is qualifying in nature.
Exam Pattern
Stage I – English Typing Test
Stage II – English Shorthand Tests
Candidates will receive two shorthand dictation and transcription opportunities. The better performance will be considered.
Stage III – Main Descriptive Examination
The minimum descriptive-examination score is 50% for General candidates and 45% for reserved-category candidates, including eligible PwBD candidates. Personal Assistant has no General-category vacancy, so its applicable qualifying standard is 45%.
Stage IV – Interview
Documents Required
- Recent colour passport-size photograph in the prescribed JPEG size.
- Live photograph captured through a webcam or mobile device.
- Scanned signature in the prescribed JPEG format.
- Left-hand thumb impression, or right-hand thumb impression when the left thumb is unavailable.
- Matriculation or equivalent certificate as proof of date of birth.
- Graduation certificate and supporting mark sheets.
- Valid SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS or PwBD certificate, when applicable.
- Current financial-year OBC-NCL certificate from the competent Government of NCT of Delhi authority, where required.
- No-objection certificate for candidates already serving in government employment.
- Valid government-issued photo identity proof for examination and verification stages.
