Candidates must search the official schedule using their complete PGEAC ID. Inclusion of an ID in the programme does not guarantee admission.
Seat Details
The counselling is being conducted against seats remaining vacant after the second counselling held from 10 to 14 August 2026. The schedule notice does not state one consolidated vacancy count.
Candidates will receive a course and institution option according to merit, category, eligibility and the seats available when they report at the allotment table.
Eligibility and Qualification
The Round-3 programme applies to qualified and eligible non-GATE candidates who submitted the required online application, consent or willingness during the notified period and whose PGEAC IDs appear in the official schedule.
The prescribed academic qualification is a relevant B.E. or B.Tech degree, subject to the course-wise eligibility and other conditions in the PGEAC 2026 prospectus.
Age Limit
Not applicable as a new condition. The Round-3 schedule does not introduce or revise an age limit.
Experience
Not applicable. The counselling notice does not prescribe a separate work-experience requirement.
Application or Counselling Fee

- Intermediate Science or equivalent admit card, marksheet and passing certificate.
- B.E. or B.Tech marksheets and passing certificate for every year or semester.
- CGPA-to-percentage conversion certificate, where applicable.
- Bihar residence certificate in the prescribed form.
- Caste, EWS or other reservation certificate, where applicable.
- Disability certificate for eligible DQ candidates.
- College Leaving Certificate or Transfer Certificate.
- Migration certificate.
- Six copies of the passport-size photograph uploaded with the application.
- Copy of Aadhaar card.
- Two copies of the downloaded verification slip and one biometric form.
- Admission receipt and bonafide certificate for candidates already admitted through Round-2, where applicable.
- Any additional document required by the PGEAC 2026 prospectus.
Candidates already admitted through Round-2 must bring their admission receipt and a bonafide certificate confirming that their original documents are deposited with the institution.
How to Check the Round-3 Schedule
- Open the official Round-3 schedule PDF linked below.
- Use the PDF search option on a phone or press Ctrl and F on a computer.
- Enter the complete PGEAC ID.
- Check the category section in which the ID appears.
- Note the corresponding counselling date and reporting time.
- Download the PGEAC rank card and required verification documents from the Board website.
- Print and retain the official schedule for reference.
How to Attend Counselling
- Confirm that the PGEAC ID appears in the official programme.
- Arrange every prescribed original certificate and photocopy.
