Age Limit
The age limit is calculated as on 01 July 2026. Candidates should be between 18 years and 44 years. Age relaxation is applicable for eligible categories as per Telangana Government rules and TGPSC notification.

Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess the prescribed educational qualification as on the date of notification, 18 June 2026. The qualification varies based on the post code and subject. Candidates should read the official notification carefully before applying.
- For many posts, candidates need a Post Graduate Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 55% marks.
- Candidates must also possess M.Ed. Degree with not less than 55% marks where prescribed.
- For SC / ST / BC / Differently Abled candidates, minimum marks for academic and professional qualifications are generally relaxed to 50%, as mentioned in the notification.
- Subject-wise qualification differs for Education, English, Telugu, Urdu, Maths, Science, Social Studies, Philosophy, Psychology, Planning & Statistics, Art Education, Education Technology and Physical Education posts.

Fee Note: Unemployed applicants are exempted from payment of examination fee only.

Selection Process
Selection will be made through an Objective Type Examination. TGPSC may conduct the exam either in OMR based offline mode or Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT) mode.
