Educational Qualification

As per the official SBI advertisement, educational qualification is not applicable for these posts. Candidates must satisfy the required defence / CAPF retirement rank and experience conditions as on 31 May 2026.

Contract Period

The selected candidates will be engaged on contract basis for an initial period of 2 years. The contract may be renewed for a maximum further period of 2 years, subject to SBI rules, performance and age limits mentioned in the official advertisement.

Salary Note: The CTC includes fixed pay and variable pay as mentioned in the official notification. Other perks such as mobile calling bill will be applicable as per entitlement.

Selection Process

The SBI SCO Contract Recruitment 2026 selection process will be based on:

1. Online application screening
2. Shortlisting of eligible candidates
3. Interview carrying 100 marks
4. Final merit list based on interview score
5. Document verification and medical fitness

Merely fulfilling the minimum eligibility does not guarantee an interview call. SBI will decide the shortlisting parameters and call eligible shortlisted candidates for interview.
