Research Project Title

ANRF Environmental Research Project Investigation of the spatio-temporal variation of methane emissions from three natural sub-tropical wetlands within the National Capital Region of Delhi and the factors influencing those emissions.

  • Experience analysing anions and cations in soil using ion chromatography.
  • Knowledge of physicochemical-property analysis of soil and water samples.
  • Experience analysing gas samples from plants and wetland sediments using gas chromatography.
  • Proficiency in Geographic Information System tools.
  • Experience using geospatial tools for environmental mapping.
  • Experience working in wetlands, marshes or similar field environments.
Candidates unwilling to collect samples under wetland and marshy field conditions were advised not to apply.

  • Conduct environmental sampling at three wetlands in the National Capital Region of Delhi.
