Doctoral qualificationPh.D. in any scientific discipline, preferably in pure science.

⌛Age and Tenure

• Candidates should preferably be below 65 years on the application closing date.
• The appointment is contractual for five years, until attaining 70 years of age, or until further orders—whichever occurs earliest.
• The advertised pay is ₹2,25,000 fixed.

★Role and Selection

The Director is the principal academic and administrative head of IISER Bhopal and is expected to provide institutional leadership in education, research and administration.

A duly constituted Selection Committee will consider eligible applications. Appointment will be made on the Committee’s recommendation after approval by the President of India, who is the Visitor of the Institute.
