JRF Educational Qualification
Applicants must possess any one of the following qualifications:
- Postgraduate degree such as M.Sc. or equivalent in Physics or Electronics with first division and NET qualification.
- B.E. or B.Tech degree in Engineering Physics or Electronics with first division and NET or GATE qualification.
- M.E. or M.Tech degree with first division at both graduate and postgraduate levels.
Research Associate Qualification
Applicants must possess either of the following:
- Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Physics or Electronics.
- M.E. or M.Tech with three years of research experience in semiconductor materials, device fabrication and characterization, along with at least one research paper published in a Science Citation Index journal.
Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis may apply. However,
the Research Associateship will be awarded only after the Ph.D. degree
or provisional certificate is issued on or before the offer date.
