Tenure of Fellowship
- The fellowship will initially be for a period of 2 years.
- Based on performance, it may be extended up to a maximum of 5 years, if required.
- Finally selected candidates will have to join SAG / sister lab(s) within 2 weeks from the date of offer letter.
- The fellowship will not confer any right for absorption in DRDO.
- Candidates may be allowed to register for Ph.D. with any University / Institution during the fellowship tenure.

Important Instructions
- Only Indian nationals who have completed the course and have been awarded degree / provisional certificate are eligible.
- No TA / DA will be paid for attending the interview or for joining, if selected.
- The number of fellowships may vary without prior intimation.
- Candidates should not bring pen drive, laptop, electronic device or camera at the time of interview.
- Candidates already awarded JRF positions in any DRDO unit earlier are not eligible to apply again.
- Selected candidates must join within two weeks from the date of offer letter.
