The monthly consultancy fee will be decided by the competent authority based on the recommendation of the Interview and Selection Committee.

Previous Relevant Experience
- Experience as legal adviser / legal executive for a renowned company, Government department, PSU or similar organization.
- Experience related to legal documentation, case filing and representation in court of law.
- Experience in contract management, legal interpretation and arbitration.
- Knowledge of Acts, Rules and Regulations applicable to Start-ups, MSMEs, Government departments and companies.
Scope of Work
- Responsible for all legal compliances applicable to DIO.
- Provide legal advice, interpretation and decisions on legal documents and clauses.
- Represent DIO in legal matters.
- Handle any other work assigned by COO / DIO or any superior authority in DIO.
Period of Consultancy Contract
- The initial contract period will be 3 years.
- The contract may be extended based on DIO requirement and satisfactory performance for a further period up to 2 years.
- In exceptional circumstances, the contract may be extended beyond 5 years with approval of DIO Board.
- The monthly consultancy fee during extension or annual increment will not exceed 1.80 times of the initial monthly consultancy fee.
- No work experience certificate will be given if the consultant leaves before completion of the initial contract period.
Selection Process
Candidates will be shortlisted based on the online application, qualification and experience details. Shortlisted candidates will be notified by email. The interview may be conducted in-person at New Delhi or through video conferencing.
