NEET UG 2026: Official Dress Code
STRICT NTA COMPLIANCE REQUIRED
The National Testing Agency (NTA) maintains a very strict dress code for the NEET UG 2026 exam to ensure transparency and security. Candidates must follow these specific instructions regarding clothing, footwear, and prohibited items to ensure entry into the exam hall on May 3, 2026.
👕 For Male Candidates
- Wear light-colored, half-sleeve shirts or T-shirts.
- Long sleeves are strictly NOT allowed.
- Trousers or light pants only (No cargo or multiple pockets).
- Slippers or sandals with thin soles. Shoes are prohibited.
👚 For Female Candidates
- Light, half-sleeve clothes (No big buttons or embroidery).
- Salwars/Trousers are allowed. Avoid leggings/palazzos.
- Slippers or low-heeled sandals only.
- No jewelry (Earrings, rings, pendants, or nose pins).
🚫 Strictly Prohibited Items
Do not carry any of the following to the exam center:
