Salary
The recruitment notice classifies Grade C as a Group B non-gazetted post and Grade D as a Group C post. It does not specify one common numerical pay scale because appointments are made to different participating ministries, departments and organisations.

Qualification
- Candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board or university.
- The qualifying result must have been declared on or before 1 August 2026.
- Candidates must possess stenography skills because the recruitment includes a mandatory stenography skill test.
- Applicants claiming an equivalent qualification must produce the competent authority’s equivalence certificate during document verification.
Experience
The notification does not prescribe previous employment experience. Candidates must satisfy the Class 12 qualification, age conditions and stenography-skill requirements.

The examination uses sectional timers: 30 minutes each for General Intelligence and General Awareness and 60 minutes for English. Additional time applies to candidates eligible for a scribe.
Stenography Skill Test

- Fresh applications cannot be submitted because the application window closed on 15 May 2026.

- Enter the existing registration number and password.
- Open the Stenographer Grade C and Grade D Examination 2026 entry.
- Check the application status and allotted examination information.
- Download the admission certificate when activated for the allotted examination date.
- Verify the date, shift, reporting time and examination-centre address.
- Read all identity, photograph, scribe and prohibited-item instructions.
- Print a clear copy of the admission certificate.
