UPSC CAPF AC Written Result 2026

The Union Public Service Commission has released the written result of the Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination 2026. Candidates whose roll numbers appear in the official result PDF have qualified provisionally for the Physical Standards Test and Physical Efficiency Test.

Latest Update: The written result was released on 25 August 2026. Every qualified candidate must log in to the UPSC online portal during the official 15-day window, verify or update the required information and finally submit the application form.

Mandatory 15-Day Portal Update

Important: Qualified candidates must complete the portal update within 15 days after declaration of the written result. Failure to update, verify and finally submit the required information may make the candidate ineligible for further stages.

Candidates must log in to the UPSC online portal and update or verify the applicable details, including:

• Educational qualification and proof of passing the required examination
• Correspondence and permanent address
• Higher educational qualifications and achievements, if applicable
• Employment details or service experience
• Preference of forces
• Marital status and parental details
• OBC or EWS annexure and other applicable claims
• Previous examination, debarment and socio-economic details

Even candidates who uploaded all information earlier and have nothing to change must log in, verify the details, finally submit the form and take a printout.

PST/PET Date and Admit Card

Sashastra Seema Bal, the nodal authority nominated by the Ministry of Home Affairs, will inform qualified candidates about the PST/PET date, time and venue. The information and e-admit card will be published on the SSB recruitment website and may also be sent to the candidate's registered email address.

Candidates should regularly check the SSB recruitment portal and their email inbox, including the spam folder.

Documents Required for PST/PET

• PST/PET e-admit card issued by SSB
• Hard copy of the finally submitted application form/DAF
• Original photo identity proof such as Aadhaar card, driving licence, passport or voter ID
• Relevant educational, age, community, EWS and reservation certificates

The candidature of every shortlisted candidate remains provisional and is subject to fulfilment of all eligibility conditions.

How to Check the Written Result

1. Open the official UPSC written-result PDF using the link below.
2. Use the PDF search option or press Ctrl + F.
3. Enter your roll number exactly as printed on the admit card.
4. If the roll number is listed, complete the mandatory UPSC portal update immediately.
5. Save the result PDF and submitted application form for future reference.

Marks of Non-Qualified Candidates

UPSC will publish the marksheets of candidates who did not qualify after declaration of the final result following the Personality Test. The marksheets will remain available on the UPSC website for 30 days.
