NCCS Internship Recruitment 2026: National Centre for Communication Security (NCCS), Department of Telecommunications under the Ministry of Communications, has invited applications for 19 paid internship vacancies for Q4-2026 at Bengaluru.

Monthly Remuneration
Category I ₹7,500 per month on pro-rata basis
Category II ₹15,000 per month on pro-rata basis
Internship Certificate: Candidates who successfully complete the internship and submit the required work report will receive an Internship Completion Certificate from NCCS.
Category I Eligibility

Category I is mainly for students currently studying in the 3rd or 4th year / pre-final or final year of an eligible Bachelor's Degree programme.

Candidates should be studying in one of the following or a related engineering discipline:

  • Electronics Engineering
  • Communication Engineering
  • Telecommunication Engineering
  • Radio Engineering
  • Information Technology
  • Computer Engineering / Computer-related discipline
  • Electrical Engineering with majors in Electronics, Communications or Computers
  • Other related disciplines accepted by NCCS

Study Status 3rd or 4th year / Final or Pre-final year
Institution Recommendation Mandatory for Category I applicants
Category II Eligibility

Category II applicants should satisfy one of the following:

  • Completed Bachelor's Degree in an eligible Electronics / Communication / Telecom / IT / Computer / Electrical or related Engineering discipline with at least 60% marks.
  • Completed Graduation and pursuing a Postgraduate / Master's Degree in an eligible Electronics, Communication, Telecom, Radio, IT, Computer, Electrical Engineering or related discipline with minimum 60% marks.
Preference: NCCS may give preference to candidates with good academic records, higher qualifications and prior exposure in the proposed internship area.

Category I Minimum 60 Days
Category II Minimum 6 Months
Category II Maximum Extendable up to 12 Months, subject to approval and requirement

Category I Institution Recommendation

Students applying under Category I must obtain a recommendation from their current University / College / Institution.

The institution should also mention the period during October to December 2026 for which the student is permitted to attend the internship.

Important Instructions
  • The internship will be conducted offline at NCCS, Bengaluru.
  • Interns must arrange their own laptop for internship work.
  • NCCS will provide workspace and workplace internet facilities as considered necessary.
  • No TA/DA will be paid for attending a personal interview.
  • Interns must follow NCCS confidentiality and security rules.
  • A final report / paper on the internship work must be submitted.
