Qualification

Technical, Scientific and Administrative Posts

  • Artist: Diploma in Drawing and Painting under MGTE, KGTE or an accepted equivalent qualification.
  • Compounder Grade IV: Diploma in Pharmacy and a recognised First Aid certificate.
  • Plumber: SSLC or equivalent with a one-year National Trade Certificate in Plumber trade or an accepted equivalent. National Apprenticeship Certificate holders receive preference.
  • Laboratory Attender: SSLC or equivalent with at least 60% marks.
  • Junior Assistant: Degree in Arts, Science or Commerce together with JDC or HDC.
  • Assistant Project Engineer: B.Tech in Civil or Agricultural Engineering, or an accepted equivalent, or Sections A and B of the Institution of Engineers examination in Civil Engineering.
  • Conservation Officer: First or Second Class M.Sc. Chemistry. A National Archives conservation certificate is desirable.
  • Lecturer in Arabic: Master’s degree in Arabic Language or Literature with the prescribed marks, M.Ed. with the required specialisation and an eligible TET, NET, SET, M.Phil. or Ph.D. qualification.
  • Electrician—Ground Water: ITI trade certificate in Electrician trade.
  • Electrician—KSFDC: Diploma in Electrical Engineering or, where permitted, ITI Electrician qualification with apprenticeship.

Uniformed Posts

  • Police Constable—Band Unit: Plus Two or equivalent and the prescribed experience in band, bugle, drum or allied instruments.
  • Fire and Rescue Officer Trainee: Plus Two or equivalent. A Diploma in Computer Application receives preference under the notification.
  • Assistant Prison Officer: SSLC or an equivalent qualification.
  • Beat Forest Officer: Plus Two conducted by the Kerala Higher Secondary Board or an equivalent examination recognised by the Kerala or Central Government.

Experience
