  • Permanent registration under the Kerala State Medical Council, Travancore-Cochin Medical Council or Council for Modern Medicine.
  • Qualifications must comply with the applicable National Medical Commission faculty regulations.
  • Candidates claiming an equivalent or higher qualification must produce the relevant Government Order when required.

The notifications did not prescribe a separate minimum number of years of employment. The specialist medical qualification, biomedical-research course and permanent professional registration were essential.

Service Condition

An appointee may be required to serve for four years during the first ten years of service, including training, in defence-connected service in India or abroad. Differently abled candidates and persons who have completed 45 years are exempt under the notification.

Ranked List Validity

Each NCA ranked list remains valid until a candidate is advised and appointed against the applicable vacancy notified because of a shortage of eligible Ezhava, Thiyya or Billava candidates during the currency of the mother ranked list.

  7. Report an incorrect community entry to the Deputy Secretary (Examinations-III) within one month.
