Selection Process
There will be no written examination and no interview.
- Eligible applications submitted through NATS/NAPS will be considered.
- Merit list will be prepared based on percentage marks in the prescribed qualification.
- If two candidates have equal marks, the older candidate will receive preference.
- If date of birth is also the same, higher Matriculation marks will be considered.
- Preference will be given to candidates applying for apprenticeship training for the first time.
- Shortlisted candidates will undergo Document Verification.
- Final engagement is subject to Pre-Engagement Medical Examination.
Important Eligibility Conditions
- Candidates may apply for only one discipline code.
- Candidates with higher professional qualifications such as B.E., MBA, MCA, CA, ICWA or LLB are not eligible where restricted by the notification.
- Candidates who completed the prescribed qualification five years or more before 31 August 2026 are not eligible under the stated NATS/NAPS conditions.
- Diploma or vocational certificate holders with one year or more job experience after acquiring the qualification are not eligible.
- A candidate can undergo a maximum of two apprenticeship trainings, subject to the conditions in the official notification.
