Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree from a university recognised by law in India on or before the application deadline.

Selection Process

The UPPSC PCS competitive examination consists of three successive stages:

  • Preliminary Examination
  • Main Written Examination
  • Personality Test/Interview

The Preliminary Examination is a screening examination. Final selection for posts involving an interview will be based on the marks obtained in the Main Written Examination and Interview.
