Qualification
PGT Biology
- Integrated postgraduate course in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks, including the B.Ed. component; or a master’s degree with at least 50% marks and the prescribed teacher-education qualification.
- The master’s subject must be Biological Science, Life Science or an eligible specialization, with the concerned subject studied at graduation level.
- Proficiency to teach through Hindi and English medium is required.
Librarian
- Bachelor’s degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science with at least 50% marks.
- Knowledge of computer applications.
- Working knowledge of Hindi and English.
- A valid applicable CTET certificate as prescribed in the notification.
Assistant Section Officer
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or institution.
- Knowledge of computer applications.
- Working knowledge of Hindi and English.
Experience
- PGT Biology: Experience as a TGT in the concerned subject and experience in a recognised school are desirable.
- Librarian: No separate mandatory work-experience requirement is stated for KVS Librarian.
- Assistant Section Officer: The candidate must have worked regularly as UDC, SSA or equivalent for at least three years in Pay Level 4 in the Central Government or its autonomous bodies.
Fee
No fee is required to check or download the Tier-II result.
At the application stage, the notified examination fee for these posts was ₹1,500 plus a ₹500 processing fee. SC, ST, PwBD and ex-servicemen candidates were exempt from the examination fee but were required to pay the processing fee.

Exam Pattern
| Tier-I | 100 objective questions, 300 marks and two hours. One mark is deducted for each incorrect response. |
| Tier-II | 60 objective questions and 10 descriptive questions for 100 marks, with a duration of two-and-a-half hours. |
| Tier-II Negative Marking | A deduction of 0.25 mark applies to each incorrect objective response. |
