Ph.D in Meteorology / Atmospheric Sciences / Oceanography / Physics / Applied Physics with Meteorology or equivalent subjects as the main subject.
OR ME / M.Tech in Atmospheric Science / Ocean Sciences with at least 3 years of research experience and at least one research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI) journal related to Atmospheric / Oceanic / Climate Sciences. |
Desirable Qualification
- Knowledge in computer programming
- Knowledge in Linux
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals related to atmospheric, oceanic or climate sciences
- Demonstrated skill in weather and climate modelling
- Experience in observational techniques and data analysis

Duration of Engagement
The Research Associate position is purely temporary. Selected candidates will be engaged initially for a period of 3 years, extendable at the discretion of SDSC SHAR for a further period up to 2 years or the validity of the project, whichever is earlier.

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. Final selection will be based on the recruitment process followed by SDSC SHAR / ISRO.
