Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess one of the following essential qualifications:
- MBBS and MD or equivalent degree recognized by MCI / NMC; or
- Master’s Degree in a subject related to Biomedical Sciences; or
- MBBS or equivalent degree recognized by MCI / NMC with Ph.D. from a recognized University in a subject related to One Health.
Experience Required
Candidates should have 17 years of experience, including:
- 05 years in a managerial position and handled R&D projects independently as PI / Co-PI / Head of Research Groups / Centres / Institutes / Laboratories; and
- 03 years regular service in Pay Matrix Level-14 or equivalent.
Ph.D. will be considered as 4 years’ experience. MD / MS or equivalent will be considered as 3 years’ experience. MVSc will be considered as 2 years’ experience. MPH / M.Tech / ME will not be considered as experience.
Desirable Experience
- Expertise in Human Health, Animal Health and their interface with the environment.
- R&D work in microbiology, virology, immunology, infectious diseases, epidemiology and disease surveillance.
- High impact publications in international and national journals.
- National and international networking with institutes on infectious diseases and public health.
