1. How to Check GDS 1st Merit List 2026?
- Visit the official portal: indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.
- Look for the "Selection List" or "Shortlisted Candidates" tab on the homepage.
- Select your Postal Circle (e.g., Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Bihar).
- Download the Result PDF and use 'Ctrl+F' to search for your Registration Number.

Based on initial trends, the expected cut-off for the first merit list is as follows:
- UR/General: 92% – 98%
- OBC/EWS: 88% – 95%
