1. Standard Identity & Age Proof
- Aadhaar Card: Your name and Date of Birth (DOB) must match your 10th marksheet exactly.
- 10th Standard (SSLC) Marksheet: The primary legal proof for your birth date.
- PAN Card & Voter ID: Essential for bank account opening and background checks in private jobs.
2. Educational Certificates (Originals)
Always keep 2 sets of self-attested photocopies of these:
- 12th (HSC) Marksheet: Required for all central and state government jobs.
- Degree/Provisional Certificate: If your final degree isn't issued, a Provisional Certificate from your University is mandatory.
- Consolidated Marksheet: Shows your total CGPA/Percentage for all semesters.
CRITICAL: For OBC-NCL and EWS categories, your certificate must be issued in the current financial year. If your certificate was issued before April 1, 2025, you MUST renew it for 2026 recruitments.
3. Tamil Nadu Specific Certificates (e-Sevai)
For TNPSC and state-level jobs, you must have:
- PSTM Certificate: (Persons Studied in Tamil Medium) – Required if you studied in Tamil from 1st to 10th/12th/Degree.
- Community Certificate: Apply via the TN e-Sevai Portal.
- Native/Nativity Certificate: To prove your residency in Tamil Nadu.
4. Private Job Requirements (IT/MNC)
- Experience Letters: If you were previously employed.
- Relieving Letter: Mandatory for experienced hires.
- Passport: Highly recommended for IT jobs (TCS, Infosys, CTS).
